The Targa Florio is a legendary endurance race held in Sicily, Italy. Hugely popular from the 1950s to the 1970s, this motorsport competition even lent its name to a Porsche roadster! In 1967, a Ford GT40 sporting the Ford France livery came incredibly close to victory! Jean-Michel Giorgi and Henri Greder finished second behind… a Porsche!
